Gasthof Schmid in Neusaess

One of our favorite inns for a long time. The food is always delicious, fresh and the portions generous. The prices are fair! The staff is always above average friendly. I recommend making a reservation as it is often well attended. In summer we like to sit in the cozy and quiet beer garden. Parking spaces are sufficient and free of charge in front of the inn.

Also in the pick-up time again super dishes to take away ... I also like to take the schnitzel on Friday ...

Delicious food, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere inside and outside. Dogs are allowed, but are not allowed to sit on the benches ;-) In addition, quite inexpensive. All in all, we like to go there regularly!

Was there for the first time, to a birthday party in the beer garden. The roast beef with Kässpatzen was delicious. My husband also liked his schnitzel, which is not always the case. The prices are unbeatable, delicious apple rings with cream & ice cream for € 3.80. The staff was very friendly. However, I think you can make the beer garden a little nicer or spice it up more. I found the unpleasant smell in front of the toilets (room in front of it) & in the toilets to be very annoying & unpleasant.

Very good, good middle-class restaurant. We love to come here again and again. The food is fresh, the taste is very good and is served quickly. The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. Special requests are also gladly fulfilled. In summer there is a beer garden behind the house. There are free parking spaces in front of the building.

We tried the food (a piece of meat) and paid for everything because the kitchen tried and found everything to be perfect. Rösti dripping with fat, the pork loin steak had a strict energetic .... Maybe we were just unlucky !? Since we were not allowed to pay in full for eaten, immediately complained about food, and we were not offered an alternative, we of course never went there again.

Good inn meat from our own highland cattle! Highly recommended! good home-style cooking, my husband especially loves the roast onions, the Kässpatzen are also very good. The last time I had meat from highland cattle, these animals are outside all year round in the Schmuttertal and are kept by the owner. We already had some family and club celebrations here, everyone was always satisfied. But there are also small minus points: the rear room cannot be separated, you always have the noise level from the front dining room. For small companies there is a separate adjoining room to the right of the entrance (max. 20-30 people.) The toilets could be renovated and hopefully the toilet door, which squeaked for weeks, has now got some oil. It's a shame that the hall no longer exists. The carnival balls there were legendary. Handicapped people should park above the restaurant, there is a ground-level entrance.
